I am a Houston artist whose work is in collections in Houston, Los Angeles, Seattle, Cincinnati, and Tel Aviv. I have participated in numerous group exhibits in Houston and Texas. I am one of five founders of PrintMatters, an arts organization begun in 2009. In 2010, we organized PrintHouston and Rockin’ Rollin’ Prints. I am also the studio manager and printing assistant to master printer Patrick Masterson at Burning Bones Press. Together, we have worked with artists Francesca Fuchs, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Joe Havel, Albert Paley, James Surls, and several others.
I work in a variety of printmaking techniques—lithographs, woodcuts, intaglios, and monoprints/monotypes. Lately, I have returned to drawing and using drawing in connection with printmaking. Artists books and installations have been a part of my creative endeavors.
I am interested in the relationships between space and time; systems; and the human challenge of these quickly changing times. I am currently working on a series of prints and drawings, sculptures and book forms that are a response to these interests, investigating the common threads that bind past, present, and future work.
You can follow me on Instagram for works in progress, upcoming events, exhibitions I've seen, and photos of the world around me.
